The combat revamp will probably do just this, fix other professions in addition to rifles. Nerfing one working profession to bring it to the level of buggy, unfinished underpowered profesions is pure laziness, and bad game design, and bad for business.

We were never unbalanced either. People were just too stupid to use armor and get buffed. IIRC it was the riflemen who were leading the BH nerf calls because some of you had sand in your vaginas over the idea of us doing mind damage with a pistol.

i am a master rifleman/doctor ... i can kill a master carbineer , master pistoleer, and most melees (who are fully buffed and spiced andfood buffed) in 4-5 hits with a jawa rifle . They have no chance... pistoleer and carbineer can only target the "healable" action and health pools while i can kill off their "unhealable" mind pool in 4-5 shots....meaning they die in 4-5 seconds.

denying that rifleman is overpowered is just being silly. and yes a BH deserves something like eyeshot.... BH's suck... its all they have... tell me what a BH can use vs a fully buffed doctor in composite? Eyeshot is all they have. Pretending rifleman isnt overpowered is silly when it is obviously the FOTM.

Rifleman is good as it is for now, its the other professions that are in need of fixing.

You're not the first rifleman I've heard say that rifleman was overpowered. I guess no one really wants to admit that their profession is overpowered. No one WANTS to get nerfed.

I think the problem with the nerf cries, is alot of people don't bother to check on their professions boards. A good portion of the combat professions have not been fixed, if I recall correctly, rifleman has. With the next publish, carbineers are getting fixed. The reason rifleman is FOTM right now is the high damage output, and the ability to attack the only pool that you can't heal in combat. BUT, if you PvP alot, and are still whining when a rifleman takes you down with a jawa rifle...GO GET A STUN LAYERED HELMET. Or just get real close to them. And for the BH's, let's face it, BH isn't the end-all, be-all PvP class. Oh, and if you don't like losing your mind pool, why not lay out some creds and get some BE'd brandy and some moun gold. So, please, take your nerf stick and leave. If you think that a particular class is SOOO powerful, why not just switch like everyone else. (I'd bet after the next publish, carbineer is fotm, just a hunch)
