Is Rifleman the slowest- hardest grind period or what?

I decided to go a different direction with my character and master tka and rifleman at the same time. The tka part is really fast and the rifleman part is slow and tedious and unnerving.

I have the tka skills now to protect myself when I only take out half the mind pool of a particular creature and the whole herd/pack decide to rush me Lol.

I try to maximize my time online because school and work are time consuming and recreative time is scarce. I have great armor- lots of moun and vasarian brandy. I go about finding a doc to buff me as soon as I get online then I head out to Endor. I find mobs and do as much damage as I can to the mind pool then I finsih them off with tka. I try to find herds that don't assist each other.

My question is:

Does anyone know of a mob/creature that is good fast experience for the rifleman? Please help because this is really tedious and time consuming.

help.

the sig is my main's on ahazi- this question is for a character I have on Kauri.

Rant first then your answer:

*Rant* Time consuming? Most other mmorpg's take quite abit longer to master a profession. Took me 6 months to get a level 50 friar in DAOC-- sotwo weeks to master rifles instead of one for TK kind of sounds silly.

*Answer* Quekners on Dantooine seem to be a speedy way to get through experience. 3k+ exp per kill, go down fast, and don't hit for a ton of damage.

Agree, anyone on this forum including myself will say Savage Quenkers on Dantooine, 4500 ham. Down in 3 shots.

I agree with quenkers/savage quenkers. Use a mind bleed + head shot to kill them. Get buffs if at all possible plus Vasarian Brandy and Vangerian Canape.

no... you end up hitting a low number like 800 2/3 of the time, or the quenker counterattacks it, or he blocks it, or he dodges it, and then after u get 3 shots on him he rushes you and he still has half HP and then the missing game begins when he's at close range (even with sniping 4)

if you're having trouble hitting the beast, I recommend doing something like macroing
/aim;
/headshot2;

should cut down on your misses.

aim counts as an attack round, if you aim and headshot2, that counts as 2 shots, so if you aim one more time after that, they see you and attack.

Why dont you just use conceal shot? They never see me when im prone and using conceal shot. I have taken 6 or 7 shots at them and they never see me. I have heard of people saying they see you after 3 conceal shots but that hasnt happpend with me.

They said after 3 misses. That is while prone.As a Ranger I can use /conceal and get up to 6.

Ranger is not a profession. It's a lifestyle.

Ya, Savage Quenkers are by far the easiest way of XP. Go to Dant and get some 6.8k-6.9k missions which are always the Savage Quenkers in the same direction. They take about 10-15minutes to do 'em all if you're fast at it and have a nice rifle. I was using HS2 most of the time until I reached HS3. And never use the bleeds, it takes away from your XP and plus when the bleed finally kicks in, they rush in.
