Kunga hunters, aren't they the stone aged NPCs on dant? Never really fought them, but are they purely melee?

Against ranged fighters (Stormtroopers or Rebel soldiers) the above tactic might work, but pure melee NPCs don't change posture by themselves. Suppression fire sometimes works, but against two mobs at once it might get hairy.

Safest way to dispose of them would be conceal shot, takes a bit longer but with a little patience they won't aggro you. What I usually do with Nightsisters in a group is take 90% of their health down with conceal on every single one, then use flushing2 or strafe2 (AE attack)to finish the job. This way all drop at the same time and no courpse dissapears before you can loot it.

dealing with groups:

to get one target aggro only.. hit em with a bleed... peace out... run 80m away... and wait for the target to close the range.. now you only have to deal with one nasty.

dealing witha single:

go prone.. this should allow you to get off several 'free' shots without the target aggro'ing.. so keeppileing those HS2 on.

I would suggest more but ive got to go run and get my bus now

Ok, being a master doc helps lots.

Buff up,
Get armor (optional)
Get a fast gun, speed sliced E-11 ideally.
Get a BIG gun, damage sliced T-21.
Apply area dizzy (flurry2) at 60m with fast gun, until it sticks.
Wait for NPC's to prone out for better accuracy.
Run back 10-15m, so you're out of range.
Wait for the NPC's to stand up and KD themselves.
Blast away w/ Flushing2 with big gun till target is dead
Repeat until cool loot or Master Rifle.

kungas are tough as hell. don't expect to easily take them on under any circumstances (short of having a good tank).

also, they won't posture change... they're pure melee. once they notice you shooting, they will always close full speed, unlike factional npcs.

your best bet is the flurry2 spam to dizzy them all, followed by suppression fires targetting each one to try to get a dizzy KD. do it fast though.. once they get close, they hit hard.

I found 2 of the 24k ham Force sensitives on Dantooine the other night. They where standing there together but I really wanted to kill them. What I did was prone and conceal shot till they died. If I needed to get some health back I just peaced out and healed up.

Neither of the NPCs ever saw me even though it took quite a while to chew through 24k HAM, Medium armor and resists.

when fighting NPCs I don't think prone is necessary (when using conseal), they never see you. only reason for prone is better accuracy
