I have recently changed career paths ( No, not becuase a stupid cube told me to, becuase of my own free will) And have picked up novice Rifleman. Rifles are my new favorite weapon, and i plan to master and keep it for a while. I am looking for 95% PvE with a little PvP everyone once and a a while, and was wondering if anyone has tried Comabt Medic/Rifleman. I often hunt with my guild mates, and was thinking this would be an excellent support charater for the group. Any opinions would bemuch appreciated.

I'm a master rifleman/doctor/combat medic and I love it. I can buff my stats at or near 3000. I can area of effect range heal, poison, cure poison/disease. It's great. I only use poison against big npc mobs though since my bleeds would do damage faster in pvp. I'm not a master combat medic so my poisons aren't the best only have 0 0 0 4 combat medic. But I was able to drop scout since combat medics get terrain negotiation. I would give up my combat medic skills before I would my doc. I love buffs.

I am currently a 2/0/0/1 Rifleman and Master Ranger now. Not too happy with this template since Ranger doesn't really give me much that would help me experience the game better like fighting tougher mobs, etc.

I am looking to become a Master Rifleman and Master Combat Medic, especially since I found out that Master Combat Medics get +50 Terrain Negotiation, which is exactly the same as a Master Scout gets. Makes running up the hills/cliffs on Dathomir effortless.

I'm wondering if anyone else has become Master Rifleman and Master Combat Medic, and if so, how do you like it. Also, do you use it for primarily PvP (which I would assume) or PvE (which is what I'll be using it for). How do you use it while attacking a mob? Area Mind Poison and then HeadShot? This sounds like a very potent combination.

Are there enough points for that?

what about scout? you'd want to be harvesting a lot of organics to make your combat medic stuff. Unless you are really rich and buy everything..

Yes there is enough points for both (with 4 points left over).

This is my second character. My primary is a Mayor of a level 4 player city, Master Weaponsmith, and Master Merchant. So yeah, I'll be buying my poisons and med supplies. In fact, I supply a CM vendor for one of my citizens, so I'll have no shortage of meds to choose from.

I am currently Master Rifle, 4/0/0/4 CM, 4/0/1/1 Scout, Master Medic and 4/0/0/4 Marksman and I love it. You can dominate PvP and PvE both. As it is, MRM is arguably the highest damage dealer in PvE so CM can only help drain those HAM pools and yes, the terrain negotiation is an added extra. I never mastered CM though as I found it not necessary to suit my purposes. With a Nyax necklace (+5 to CM med use) my poisons are effective as they need to be. I can't toss the huge area poison bombs that masters do that tick for huge amounts but, the ones I do throw out there are strong enough to get the job done. My singles alone tick for around 550 per. I had no desire to craft my ownand haven't had any trouble finding vendors with CM poisons, diseases and area stims to buy. It can get expensive buying all these but no more so than buying all the resources needed to craft them anyways. Your choice just depends on what you think is sufficient for your needs and the availability of resources and/or ready-made products to use in case you decide not to master it.

Either way, I think you'll like the results.

Oh and yes, all my skill points are spent with this template.
