Thread: For those of you who *aren't* a master....
lol... i know your pain. i'm assuming by "college" and "daily commits to the AF" that you're an AFROTC.
been there, done that-- between corps stuff and AAS, I spent more time shining, tweezing, ironing, marching, PFT-ing, etc than I did studying. ![]()

I think I am setting the record for the most amount of time taken to master this profession. I started as a Novice Marksman with the full intention of getting to Master Rifleman. That was on Day 2 of the game (back in June). I am currently 4/3/3/3 and still truckin'. Eight months and counting baby. You must be wondering, 'does this guy play the game an hour a week? Once a month? Is he just retarded and doesn't know how to play?' Well, I'm sure an argument could be made for the last idea, but I feel the truth is I've just been having fun doing a wide variety of other things. The 15 skill points I spent on Novice Artisan was the best investment ever. It has made me a multi-millionaire through the mining industry. That takes a bit of time. And I am in college (with daily commitments to the AF), so I really do only play a few days a week and a few hours at a time. My newest goal is to beat up on the Geonosian cave and hopefully loot me some yellow power cubes so I can get a DXR-6 made. And if I can't loot them, well, I'll buy them off the trade forums. At least I'll get some rifle xp at the cave. Hopefully I'll finish this profession in the next couple weeks. Wish me luck!![]()
dude im in the same boat as you.. started from release and im 4/3/3/3 now.. xp accelerated when they improved rifleman and i found the dathomir rancor stomp groups
(100k xp an hour if everything goes smoothly)
when i am half way through my last box i will do some quests and check out the Geonosian cave, since i dont want to waste time killing mobs when im master since i wont be getting any XP.

Yep, you hit the nail on the head. So are you commissioned? What career field? And yeah, ROTC takes up a ton of time (although I've been slackin' in AAS). We got a new PAS this year though and he is all about grades, so he's letting people cut out some ROTC time in the hopes of raising GPAs. Four months till commission for me, 21A, aircraft maintainence (not my first choice sadly), don't know where I'll be, hopefully Langley or Seymour Johnson.
btw 4/3/0/3 rifleman myself
