I think I'm going to re-create and start over from scratch. What is the best profession that goes with Rifleman? Just trying to keep my options open. Thanks alot.

I like creature handler as a second profession. I'm working up to master. The pets make great tanks and give you plenty of time to bast the mobs. Get the pets buffed and you can take lairs with out have a mob argo you at all, just sick the pets on teh lair.

Thanks for the quick reply. Anyone else that has anothe profession and the pros/cons of having it? I just want to waste as little time as possible testing stuff out that people already know. TIA.

What is important to you? We need to know more about the type of player before suggesting what would work well for you.

Medic/Doc- For healing, buffing, and rezzing.

CM- Poisions and disease from range. very nice

TKM- Melee defenses. Even though stacking will be capped in the next publish it should still be pretty good.

Just about anyone of those would be a good compliment to Master Rifleman.

I'm also torn about where to go with rifleman.I want something for primarily solo pvp. I also want to take into account the defense stacking nerf. I've thought about tka, swords, and doc.

TKA because its a damn nice profession with self healing andexcellent melee. I see no down sides except everyone seems to be TKA and there is only one attack that complements my rifle's mind damage. And stacking is going bye bye.

Swords just because I already have it mastered(holo prof) and it complements my mind damaging rifle. Plus its melee which offsets my range. Downsides for me is that it is slow and has fewposture/state changes.

Doctor because it makes me totally self sufficient. I like the idea of being combat ready at all times. Downside is that I am not a healer type at heart. I don't care about buffing or healing others. This would be for me and me alone. Also, rifles would be my only means of offense.

What do the experts think, especially you leet pvp's out there?

PS: I forgot to add that I have ZERO interest in combat medic. Thats why I didn't list it. I hate it, its gonna get nerfed and I hate it.

Not sure if you can do this with the skill points available but....what about take up the pistols line of BH so you can eyeshot when they get in close? That would solve the sword being slow and you would still have a semi-close range mind attack.

having ranger makes you kind of like an assasin , plus the traps from scouts will help allot in the leveling process

Then go rifleman/CM. No other class can have as much effect on a raid as a CM. AE Mind/Poison diseases are downright nasty.
