Thread: Those of you who have MCM with MRM what are your tactics for killing?

If someone could outline there tactics for hunting krayts, small areas say the DWB when fighting guys or against melee/ranged pvp chars. That would be awsome cause right now im confused on what to use in the CM skills because there is so many. Im MCM/MRM/??? lol im thinking of picking up 0004 in doctor for buffs but i dunno if i could get some suggestion on what to do with the rest of my points that would be awsome!! thanks alot

ahainst a non droid,


paralize, then thyroid rupture, shock, and hemorage. then paralize aian, back off then poison/fire them.


or do first part, kd them, paralize them again, back off and snipershot them.


then use reg tactice, use bacta shot if possible, it doesn't make you stop for a sec.

Against krayt's and such, you'll just run up to it, paralyze, electro drain it, run away, posion and fire. And just fire with your rifle till it drops down dead, u might have to run up and snare it again again though if it takes time to kill it . Against players... well, against ranged ones i just basicly have the tactic i use my rifle skills to try and just simply shoot em down, maybe paralyze and destate if i can reach em(this is if they dont haev doc or cm or any healing skills). Against jedis, well, theyr a bit tricky, just snare em, DONT posion em, learned this the hard way.. u whant to be abble to paralyze them when they close to you, run off heal and fire the hell out of them, keep them debuffed and snared and just shoot them till they drop down on force, or you could have a shot dropping their health down, KD, paralyze and run 20 meters jump down on the ground and fire a sniper shot. Hope this can be of any help, this is just how i tend to do it though, but evry situation is different

PvE:
start with rifle skills from your max range. use conceal. as soon as he sees u, sniper. when target is about 30 away, start gettingtostand up then paralyse, debuff.


by this time, your action is back up. run back and continue to use rifle spechials.


when u run out of action, stop, paralyse, heal, re-debuff if needed and then more rifle....


when kiting, dont run to far, cuz of the darn +retreat+...


note: u have enough points left to get about two trees in pistoleer or carbineer (root or KD) depending on how much FS u got.



PvP: i still dont have a good order here, its too dynamic and fast to have a "plan". i generaly count on my rifle skills, till one of the imp jedi notice me and charge me, then its a race who can snare/paralyse/kd who faster.

In PvP I wouldn't waste your time with poisons or fire. All they will do is break your paralyze when you don't want it to. You need to revolve your entire strategy (1v1) around paralyzing them with enough health down that you can kill them with one sniper shot. Ideally you want to get them kd'd then paralyze then back up and sniper. As far as in between that, just use your normal moves and especially startle shot.


To start a 1v1 fight it's good to go ahead and paralyze and land all your states (thyroid and electrolyte etc..)

In a group fight I suggest using paralyze more as a crowd control move. Try and incapacitate (so to speak) as many players as possible and have your group focus on one at a time.


I decided to drop MCM though since this latest patch because of the change to sniper shot. I was having trouble getting back into the 20m range and setting up for sniper without it automatically breaking combat in the middle of the warmup. Instead I picked up 2 ranged paralyzes (concussion and panic) Miss those 1500 heals though



I USED TO take Defense Stacker 2....do you?
