I just got master concealment and now that i have the best cover i can i stil dont understand what it does. Is there anyone that can tell me what its supposed to do? Thanks

I think Cover is just another manisfestation of a general SWG problem: accuracy bonuses in this game completely drown out all defense bonuses.
I believe it gives you something like +20 Ranged Defense. But when you're fighting a Master Pistoleer or a Rebel General, they have such a huge accuracy bonus that even when you're prone and under cover they still hit you almost all the time at any range.
So basically it doesn't do much of anything.

i did read the FAQ but am still confused, does cover hide you from creatures?

I just mastered rifleman. And I am having a hard time figuring out how COVER works. Everytime I try it it gives me a message about not being able to do it cause I can be seen. What am I doing wrong????

don't recall what the exact range is but you can't be near any animals or NPC's when you try to cover. Try using cover when you have a radius of 20-30m around you without anything nearby.

It is 20m, you have to be lying down, and nothing can in that range, no pets, no vehicals, no critters, no NPC's, no players.... houses and trees and such seem to be OK though....
