Thread: using cover effectivly

i would really appreciate any info on how to use cover effectivly. by this i mean staying under cover and able to kill a lvl animal. any help is greatly appreciated.

ummm use masked scent (if you have it) conceal and concealshot

yeah ive tried mask scent and camo kits but i still get uncovered

Every time you make a concealed shot, your target moves toward you by about 10 meters. If you shoot at a target that's 65 meters away and that means you'll get about 3 concealed shots in before it wanders close enough to notice.
If you use ranged arms, the target just stands and tries to look for you. If you wait long enough so that the combat music stops, you can hit the target again and it will again not see you. If you don't wait for the combat music to stop, you again have 3 shots at your target before it discovers you. I'm only CL 54 and I've been able to take out CL 81 Nova troopers this way. It'll take a while as they heal pretty fast and you have to watch out if they decide to walk about.
Don't use aim while under cover as it breaks cover.
Anything that gets with in 20 meters will break cover.
