im fairly new to the game and the rifleman profession. i could use some help in finding a good place to buy a good rifle.

/agree. Find the Trade Forum for the piticular galaxy you are in. For advice pertaining to Riflemen however, make sure you get a Laser Rifle as soon as posible and then use it until you reach 0020 in Riflemen. Then switch and use the DXR-6b Disrupter Rifle. Level the rest of Riflemen with that.

(One comment however, I would not suggest going into Riflemen and start leveling it with Rifles. I would suggest master a different profession first .... posibly a melee one? And then use that profession to earn and save up Combat XP. When you go into Riflemen, learn 0004 right away as that tree gives you speed bonuses and thus allowing you to shoot faster to kill creatures easier. Rifles are famous for slow and inaccurate shots early on and it makes for a hassle to level.)

I would recommend either some melee profession like Swordman/Fencer or Pistoleer (since you already have started Marksman profession). The point is that sometimes you have to fight close range and rifles are not very good in this.
