i used to use cover alot when i first started grinding rfle but now i found depending on what im fight animals as long as i use maskscent (rifle/ranger mix)and conceal shot or HS2 and stay at 64 meters away 9 out of 10 times i dont get aggro'd same thing on npc even if tef'd as long as i stay within that 60-64 meter range i have no problems although when i hunt with freinds or guild and most of them are rifle the cant seem to understand that they want to rush in with rifles like there pistls and carbine's that and my best freinds are muon gold breath of heavan and vaisian brandy(spelled wrong) i have solo'd kimos alone with nothing but cs and a crate of muon and my powerups and don't get aggrod unless i wound the target has anyone else noticed this or is it just me

I've noticed this.. And not just as rifleman, I was master commando, and my friend was master ranger.
We took a stronghold on corellia, it was crawling with Stormtroopers. He would make the kill, go down, loot them, and run back up (in the days of the holocrons) without getting aggroed. Same with me. I wasonly effective at close range back then and the only way i would get aggroed is if I landed a flame DoT.
So as long as you stay away from the bleeds, poisons, diseases, etc. you should be fine.
Also being wellprepared can save you alot of running and warning shots.

Unfortunately, with buffs, 80% + armor, high stat foods, and high damage guns there is little need for the average riflemen to go prone, use conceal, or to have much by way of tactics at all on all but the hardest MOBs in the game. While fighting without buffs and armor can add a bit of excitement, most get impatient with the time it takes to accomplish kills as they have experienced the ease at which we can kill when buffed and stuffed. I remember fighting as you describe with just a T21 and a crate of muon, but it's been a long time. The game has changed and for 90% of the content in the game, running in with guns blazing works and is fast.

I have been MRM since last October. Being somewhat bored with it all, I decided to go to Test Center andbuild a new rifleman(I'm working on the Novice box now), and I have to say I am enjoying the hell out of it. I have no armor, some weak foods from newb vendors, and almost no money. And until my last session I was using unsliced weapons. The animals can acutally kill me!! This is such a pleasant change from "I can kill almost anything in 5-10 seconds."
I really believe that there should be all levels of animals in the game even for the combat masters, including many morethat cannot be soloed. It should be downright dangerous walking in the wilderness.
I think there should be vast wilderness areas where cities and houses cannot be built that you cannot take a bike into. Imagine having to take a hunting party on foot into the jungle to bag a vicious beast for it's loot.
These are the things that made the game thrilling for me as a complete newb on Rori over a year ago. I would love to get back to that.. even as MRM.
