Thread: DXR-6B Disruptor Rifle?

One thing worth mentioning is that the Disruptor does acid damage. This comes in very handy in PVE when fighting creatures with high energy resists and vulnerability to acid.

to add to this point . acid damage also goes straight through psg's so they can be quite helpfull in pvp . furthermore the high minimum damage makes it a good weapon when fighting an opponent with ranged mitifation 3 . bottom line , as a rifleman depending on the perticular situation you should always have a t-21 , dxr and jawa hotkeyed .

dxr-6b's are the best Rifles yet IMO
I use mine in PvP and PvE, great speed and good damage.
They usually go for about 200-350k on my server.
Also if you like the Geonosian Cave, Acid damage is nice

1. yes
2. the cert description is in the examine window on the weapon and the cert is either box 2 or 3 of countersniping
3. against some rancors and certain critters it is prefered if the creature's acid resist is around half it's energy resist.

the dxr-6b has more acc. than a t21 and better than a jawa..nowadays you have most of the hardcore pvpr'rs runnin round with stun comp and psg's and the jawa only have an ap1(stun comp + psg stun resist comes out to be 80% or more...i could be wrong)while the dxr-6b has ap2 and don't even bother using the t21 in pvp it has ap3 but acc. is just lame...the dxr-6b is best used while in the geo caves...that rifle is just made for that place.
