Thread: How many Skill tapes do I need to speed cap rifleman?

From what I remember, you only need +7 in speed attachments, OR if you have master marksman, +2....
Can anyone verify that?

I was looking for the same info... I was assuming that you need a total of 100 to cap out speed. Not sure though. So a +10 speed mod added to your +90 at Master should cap you. I have a +14 speedCA and withMaster Rifleand I seem to shoot at 1sec. If anyone knows or has a seperate post to refer us to... please do post. Thank you.

I've been told many times it's 96 speed for rifleman, which means a total of +6 in tapes if you're only master rifleman. I'm sure a search or perusal of the rifleman FAQ will give you the answer if you want it from another source.

i've heard +7 caps your speed on weapons with 9.0 speed or lower.

i think +7 caps your speed up to 9 or 15 speed.....either way...the slowest rifle in the game is 14 speed (tusken king)

My question is, how many skill mods would i need to speed cap Rifleman? Right now Im a master rifleman plus i have +6 in attachments. Would this be enough or no?

FAQ : What speed mod does the Rifleman need to hit the speed cap?
As a Master Rifleman you will have +90 speed. If you get Master Marksman you will get an additional +5. This means you will have a speed of 10% (only Master Rifle) or 5% (plus Master Marksman) of the weapons listed speed. The biggest delay mod in Rifleman is 3.5X for StrafeShot2. The general consensus is that you will pretty much be capped out with most weapons at +97. But it will depend on the base speed of the weapon.

Ok here's some conflicting information. Im currently at +96 rifle speed and from what i can tell i'm at speed cap. BUT, I pulled out my T-21 which is 7.5 speed, it's shooting at the same rate as my 4.5 dirsruptor rifle?
When I was using Strafeshot 2 there was no delay whatsoever? Has anyone else noticed this who's at +96 speed?
