Thread: Why hasn't this been asked?

I realize I can just test this in about 5 seconds but I think it should be on the forums in this thread somewhere and I don't understand why it hasn't been covered yet.

1. The 'rumor' is that although ranged speed doesn't work, melee speed works and also works FOR ranged attacks right now. So.... DOES having melee speed hiked up, give you a 112% reduction?

2. IS there a cap on +speed skill? I realize anything over 100% would be pointless but do the mechanics recognize +98, +99, and or +100 as a viable speed reduction?

Melee speed currently does cap rifleman speed. Cap only can reach a 100% reduction so 112% is impossible because all professions and attacks cap at 1 attack per sec.

+97 is consider enough to cap most any rifles (baring some 11 sec loot ones)

Perhaps the greatest loot I ever had was carbine with a 45.7 sec delay.

I fired it at 1 / sec back when I was a BH / Carbineer. Kinda an amusing way to test the cap.
