Made master rifle last night! Started on day three of release, and worked it steadily until last night (with an 8 months break). I gotta say, master is worth it!
I was doing 2k-3k damage with my best attack and a T-21, now I'm doing 5k-7k with the same gun and SS2. Took out two lairs of jantas and a lair of Kunga's in 10 minutes, including travel time.
The path I traveled was a little odd, since I didn't know enough to level 0-0-0-4 first when I started. I went 3-0-0-0 for HS3, until I actually got it, leveling was slow. Then went up 3-0-3-1 and things got better with the first AoE. Once you get those, leveling is a lot faster.
The possibility of making tons of xp in no time has me jonesing to play longer than I do now. I made 11k combat xp in about 15mins. Just wanted to share with you all my experience of being a first time master!

Now you need to go get melee speed from the FCS line(hopefully the devs fix ranged speed) and watch the fireworks fly. Fighting with my speed capped rifleman is awsome. I love taking down a critter before it even has a chance to turn and run toward you.

I've really noticed a difference in speed. With any rifle except my T-21, I can spam SS2 and my toon never stops shooting. With my T-21, he'll shoot 3 times then pause, 3 times then pause. I love it! I'm getting 250k xp in less than one buff session. A lot less, 'cause I had a ton of travel time and I didn't grind at all.
Now I now what the fuss is about! NS, here I come!
