Rifleman Archive

Like many, I group with the uber BH Pistol wielders, and they get roughly 2x the exp per mob that I do. I use a laser rifle and/or a T21 (I'm 2 boxes above Noice rifleman).

Would using a weapon that hits more often for less damage help me get more exp relative to the other players? Perhaps a spraystick?

Any other suggestions?

I have two systems. . . though I am not proud of either of them.

The first system is to start off with /mindshot2 to get the MOB bleeding. Make sure you cast the bleed and it bleeds to the Mind Pool. Then just basically let other people tank for you while spamming /headshot3 until the MOB drops. That ought to get you a decent amount of XP, though it's often not helpful to the group.

The other system is something new, because the Devs recently added an old suggestion to the game. Now, non-damaging shots that cast special effects (like dizzy or stun or posture change) have an XP bonus for using them, to encourage people NOT to do what I suggested above. The other solution is to spam one of these shots. At least if you are spamming posture change you are helping the group out. So you can feel like less of a leach.
