Thread: If knockdown works in PvP....
Conceal shot should make it so they dotn auto target or something.
Also, theres a new nerf to knockdown, its on a 30 second timer now.
Is the incoming knockdown timer pvp only or universal ?
I might recommend checking out my thread entitled Headshot4: One Sniper's Suggestion. It deals with a possible meathod of implementing the stealth-sniper mentality into PvP in a balanced way.

If and when that knockdown nerf goes in the last thing Rifleman will see is a improvement. Expect the nerf bat pointed directly at us.

Pre- master riflemen should be ok, I expect the nerfbat to knock down the master rifleman speed boost though. Wouldn't be surprised to see the speed bonus for rifleman halved overall.
The way they base speed doesnt allow them a easy fix here. For me at least at +60 I was shooting AE's at 10 sec then at +90 it was 2.5 sec, as you can see their isnt much room there for them to play with these numbers.
I am more worried that our AE's will be removed because they will be concedered to strong. Why I am so against the KD nerf when we had the ability to stop it already. Now the Nerf bat has been brought out and god knows when it will be used on us.
If this KD nerf comes to be you will see so many Rifleman/ Docs running around it will give BH's a run for their money. Just think a Master Doc can buff HA for 1000+ a piece, enough healing to get back to full health after being knocked down, then having the most DPS class in the game to pump out the hurt. Only combo I see that will give them trouble is the Master Pistoleer/BH pistol combo, because of eye shot. Any other combat template could not match up to Rifle/Doc.
I think it is a little Ironic that our corespondent was the one champoning this 30 sec imunity and guess what? He is going for Rifleman/Doc. Also he is pushing hard to have our HAM cost changed to Action, again perfect for a Rifleman/Doc combo.
To be fair the action HAM cost would help every rifleman with just novice medic. People are putting out 400 heal stim Bs now.
All this change will do is remove one uber template for a new one. This really does nothing to balance game play.
Really this change was just a knee jerk reaction by SOE to get people off their nutts, IMO. Just like the original T21 change, no real thought involved they just wanted to shut people up. Hopefully they will realize what they are doing here, unlike the T21 change where they will end up having to change the weapon three times.
