Thread: AP3 is the ONLY reason to be a Rifleman
At least it was my main reason for dropping Master TK and going Rifleman. If you take away AP3 on the T21, THERE IS ABSOLUTLY NO REASON TO BE A RIFLEMAN!!!
We shoot slower.
We are extremly vunerable to close range attacks.
Our special attacks eat up our HAM.

Kito they arent going to, some dude went like 40 pages back in our profession forum and commented on a post that was over a month old.
The post from Holocron about the T-21 nerf was already done and undone.
No worries about AP3................yet.......
pistoleers dont like high dmg numbers because they dont understand how slow rifles are........ (they dont notice that they're always against the 0.5 cap)
so what did the devs do... low dmg numbers but secretly put AP3 in, there is someone trying to help us in that Dev office! ![]()

I'm pretty sure that's the way it was always meant to be. As for the true strength of the T21 against an unarmored NPC, I don't really know if the extra 25% damage really makes up for the "low" damage numbers.
But I wouldn't mind using a T21 in its current form if they hadn't forgotten to nerf the HAM along with it. Or did they?...
I just had a lovely encounter in spaceport vs 2 commandos i almost pulled of freak win with my aoe except they hit me with 3000 damage with one shot

So yea life sucks sometimes the lucks with you hitting 3 shots at 20m with t21 is lucky and sometimes not getting hit for 3000 damage in one shot that normal actualy

Just so everyone understands i got lucky in almost winning it i was buffed to 2400 hps and useing meon gold for 1500 mind and hit with 3 shots in row with AOE on same ham.
Then got hit by 1 shot from them for 3000 and was all over
also lucky that other hit was for 700 only a scratch

If it's a Pre-Nerf T21, do the following:
Say: Stand right there and don't move.
Run: 60m away
/kneel
/duel
Mind Shot 2
/endduel
Secretly changes the T21 to AP3?
Theres nothing secret about it... it was announced in the release notes and everything.
So we have AP3, yippy... we still stuck.
AP3 doesn't mean anything when:
1. we can't hit anything
2. our damage sucks
3. we damage own mind as much as the targets
4. it's bugged and doesn't work in PvP anyways
5. the gun is slow as molasses

pistoleers are always against the 0.5 cap (which btw doesn't exist yet.. currently it's a 1.0 cap)? not true, stopping shot is actuallyabout as fast our strafe shot 2if you compare masters and ss2 has a higher multiplier and an AE...while prone i pretty much never miss with strafe shot2. Pistoleers can't get above +82 speedwithout dabbling so our +95 speed at master actually makes usjust as fast (2.1 second avg fwg5 speed *0.18, 7.5 second avgT-21 speed *.05)... you're talking about the pistoleer/bh dabbler combo.. yes,the speed mods from those two classes shouldn't stack. If anything pistoleers (i'm talking about pistoleers alone, not pistoleer/bh) should have higher innate accuracy mods (bh is higher), higher speed mods (once again bounty hunter is higher) and the mods from both classes shouldn't stack... and they should shove some of those speed and accuracy mods out of the lower bh boxes and into master. We should make what we don't like clear.. it's the pistoleer/bounty hunter class combo that allows them to exploit the stacking of the speed mods between the two professions. Pistoleers by themselves rightfully should have alot of beefs.
