Thread: Pistoler VS Rifleman Range Solution
Yea yea I know, all Rifleman wanna nerf Pistoleer, fine. So heres a solution to think up.
Pistoleer range - 0-32meters and cant fire at more than 36 meters
Carbine range - 20-52meters and cant fire at more than 52 meters
Rifleman range - 32-64meters and cant fire at less than 32 meters
It sounds logical...

"no because riflemen will just kite us!"
which is partly true but we all know we have HORRIBLE aim while running so it makes the argument moot.
I don't think this will ever happen... maybe if they made it so specials could only be done at certain ranges, then you could get a balance
I dunno I used to be a fan of hard capping the ranges to each class but now I have been thinking it over lately. Maybe instead of hard capping it they should just fix the accuracy problem. I mean lets face it. If you had a pistol yes you could hit something at 64m but the chances would be very low. I am only pistol specialist right now but I seem to be hitting about maybe2/3 the time at that range. I will hate to see how accurate I will be if I started making my way up the pistoleer tree. Since each of my shots is about 300dmg that comes to about 1200+ damage in about 7-8 seconds. That is about the avgdmg as my T21 on MS2 at the same interval. Since Im a newb pistol player I should never be able to hit 64m. In fact if I am a master I shouldnt be able to do that either. But there should always be a chance of hitting it. Say 1 in 100 or so. But the same should go for rifles at close range (already the case it seems). Maybe if the devs just get off their A$$'s and instead of nerfing everything, actually do something constructive, we wouldnt have posts about this. Sorry that last statment was just out of frustration of my class being the loser/gimpclass.
PS: Dont get me started on the idea of the 3 second cap for rifles.
