Costs: Health / 42 Action/ 35 Mind / 70 TOTAL: 147 to stats


Speed 8.5



Launcher Pistol: Damage 58-225


Point Blank (0m) / +0 Ideal (0m) / -2 Max (64m) / +0


Costs: Health / 18 Action/ 53Mind / 18 Total: 89 to stats


Speed 2.7



So am I an dunce here or is there a problem?


The T-21 will hit your stats for approximately 45% hurt, will most likely miss from anything under 50 m, costs about5 times as much in credits, is about 3 times as slow, and all you get for the trade is a measley extra 50 damage top and bottom end.


The Launcher Pistol will hurt your stats about 45% less, is equally accurate from anywhere on the map, costs about 1/5 as much in credits, and is 65-70% faster for non-masters in either class.


Now supposedly the AR damage multiplier is a factor I've not worked into the equation. Does it even work right now? Even with the the extra punch could it possibly make a difference enough to "balance" the class? Not to mention the crazy melee damage multiplier we are subjected to...

Yes.. armor piercing works, except for on mobs that have vulnerability: ar piercing weapons damage type... but on an armor heavy mob you can divide the launcher pistols damage by 4 while the T-21 receives no damage reductoin at all...the AR3 is extremely useful in endgame PvE as big game mobs are generally medium or heavy armor on which the launcher pistol will be doing 1/2 or 1/4 damage respectively. Launcher Pistol=better leveling weapon.. T-21=better weaponon big game when you're done leveling. PvPthe launcher pistol is better since it does blast damage which seems to be a bane of PSGs and is being made a vulnerability on turrets and AT-STs. The listed weapon speeds are currently irrelevant endgame.

AP does not work in PvP though.

AP, as the devs clearly stated before is not a determining factor in ADDING more damage to your attack it merely makes it so that the percentage of damage output is more comparable to as though that particular person was wearing no armor at all, so if the target had no armor on it would be attacking at 100% damage, while if it had high armor it would deal less then 100%, neither pistols nor rifle suffer from damage reduction from targets that have no armor, in other words a rifle WILL NOT deal more damage if a target is unarmored even if the T21 has a piercing of 3.

AP does work in PvP, I hit for more using a scatter pistol than a launcher pistol against armored targets and vice versaVS unarmored targets. Truth is, the T21 sucks. The HAM costs are enormous when dealing with damage/HAM ratio and the DPS isnt comparable with other professions until 4th tier rifle special abilities which just helps you suck up the mind quicker.



Anytime I see something screech across a room and latch onto someones neck, and the guy screams and tries to get it off, I have to laugh, because what is that thing.

Yes the AP modifiers are working. Big difference in final damage there, not to mention you could probably find much better t21's.

My dream armor would would not only have low encumbrances but it would have extremely high resists to nerf cries.
