Anyone know of what should be considered good stats for a shield generator? I read a post saying that it will help out slightly in pvp rifle combat and was wondering if anyone out there could post the stats on theirs.

It really depends on what you want them to focus on. I have different shield gens for each type of armor, and one in general. They can focus there resists on certain types, so what I do is have them focus the resists on my vulnerabilities of the armor.

I would also like to know more about personal shield generators.

I had never used one before last week and still know very little. I saw one for sale with 40% resists to pretty much everything. I had some extra cash at the time, and so I thought "what the heck" and paid 12K$ for it. I used it just a very few times against NPCs and noticed the condition had gone all the way to ZERO and the resists were all at 7% now.I felt really cheated -- it didnt last any time at all.
So can someone answer the following?

-- How much should a personal shield generator cost?
-- Is 40% resists good or bad for a PSG?
-- Does it still provide ANY protection at ZERO condition?
-- Is it scrap metal now, or can it be repaired cheaply?

Anything you can tell me would be enlightening!!

My guild armorsmith supplies them to me so i don't know of a cost.

The best i have seen him do is %29 resist on all. He was still in the grinding stage so it could go better.

After it reaches 0 condition i never got any protection from it.

Yes i believe it is scrap metal. I haven't tried a Armor repair tool on it, but i guess i can try tonight.

Yes I am looking for really just blast and energy protection mainly. If it protects against other things also then that is good but the blast an energy are the main ones.

Armor repair tool does not work. (my last check on this, at least) PSGs are fine for a couple hits, then you start soaking up the damage like a dry sponge.
