Theres a lot of discussion and opinions about soloing (big hits vs steady damage). But at grouping its comes down to raw average dps and ham usage. So what are your pros and cons on the different rifles.

Spraystick is what I use when grouping with non-riflemen.

Yes I would say any of the fast, but undependable (damage wise IMO) rifles. I personally like to know that I am guarunteed a high damage hit, even if it isn't as high as another one, it has a better chance of being high. But slowand small damage rangerifles are good for soloing. Fast, and large damage range are good for groups.

when grouping - just use flurry shot 1/2 still decent damage - just a random pool.

Tried spraystick. Yes good dps, but HAM costs are hella high

Well in groups here is what I do to get my slice of the pie .

Open up with your best rifle using Mindshot I and then Mindshot II .

Then switch to a sprayer and fire off random attacks .

I find that the mind pool is drained on anything a group fights from just those two attacks , and it drains it just as fast as 8 people all zerging the hell out of the health bar .

And the damage from the Mindshots is unassigned until you fire off another attack , no matter what it is . So , if you do Mindshots I and II and you have drained 8 or 10k of mind in the time it takes to kill the MOB , you will get all the XP for that as long as you do some other damage with another attack , be it random pool , standard , flurry , whatever . You could let the DOTs drain out 8k of mind pool , walk up to the MOB just before it died and punch it once and get 2k unarmed fighting XP if ya wanted to ...

Having said all that I must say that soloing is far more efficient and profitable than grouping .

Flurry shot or even the broken skill Supression fire which i like a lot morebecause it uses actioncost which your group medic can heal and does near the same damage as flurry shot if not more.
