Thread: Where To Solo As a Higher-Level Rifleman

As a higher level Rifleman, you need these three qualities when picking a mob to fight:

1. Non-aggressive.

2.Non-BAF (bring-a-friend, i.e. herding).

3. Good xp, especially considering the xp decrease at higher levels of Rifle (i.e. I get like 6 xp for a peko peko).

The best place I've found is on Dathomir. Either outpost, Giant Baz Nitch missions. They currently give 10,000 credits but rumor is that is changed on Test Center. However, there are better ways to get credits anyway and we're interested in XP here. Note that it will take a few "Refresh" to get the mission to come up.

Now, you may see Pistoleers, TKAs and such soloing these guys with their knockdown. Unfortunately, we don't have a knockdown and thus can't do that. However, we _do_ have Conceal Shot.

Conceal Shot lets us kill these guys undetected... just keep hitting Conceal Shot. If you miss or use a different shot, you will get charged. Also, if you don't like Conceal Shot, GBNs run at about the same speed you do and you can try kiting them (one at a time -- kiting has the advantage you can use bleeds and head shots to make things go faster instead of hitting a random pool). Finally, they have trouble going up hills, so if you have good Terrian Negotation yourself, you can gain distance on them by going up hills.

Currently Suppression Fire (From Ranged IV in Marksman) is broken, but when it is fixed, perhaps Flurry Shot/Suppression Fire for a dizzy knockdown will be a viable combo for soloing. Stay tuned.

Hope this helps any aspiring Rifleman! Feel free to ask any questions/comments below

Caleph, could you help me a bit here, I do them all the time for missions and think they really are the best for money.

Go there, shoot the lair, rinse, repeat. Now, how do you make money better than that? I really need to know if my method is nerfed in test. Thanks a lot.

Was it nerfed already? The missions aren't seeming to come up.

If you come across a field of harvesters, plant one that's the same type and check the list to see what you can harvest
