Thread: T21 Bugged?

The T21 is supposed to be AP 3, right? When I shoot something with my laser rifle (AP 2), I see one damage number in the combat window, but a second, much higher number appears over the head of what I just shot.

Now, with my new T21, both numbers are the same. Have any other T21 usersnoticed this? Is the AP3 actually taking effect?

What I think is the the more important Question, is how did you get a T21 Rifle?

The first batch just became available on my server, Corbantis. There are probably only 20 or so in circulation so far. Some alantium carbinate or whatever it's called finally showed up.

Back to the question, though, anyone know? The damage is still verrry nice. I'm thinking maybe it would have been too nice with the AP3, and maybe the devs just switched it off?

I r use a T21 and I have no idea what you are talking about. Normally the numbers split due to armor or so..

Hatch,

I've seen exactly the same thing. My Vibro Knucklers have an AR of 1, I believe, and the floating damage numbers are higher than the ones in the chat window. But for the T21, the numbers are exactly the same.

It appears that currently, the T21 has an AR of 0.

Are any other T21 users seeing this, or is it just me?

I talked to some other people and they are seeing the same thing. The T21 is definitely bugged. It doesn't seem to really have an effect in pvp as it's a one-shot kill anyway, but it hurts quite a bit in pve. My laser rifle is actually better to use there.

I'm pretty sure what you see over the enemy's head is the actual damage it did and the number in the window all the damage you really did to the thing. Like let's say someone only has 900 health and you do over that, it will show 900 in the window and the real damage over the head. I think...

No, deaton.

The number shown in your chat log is your pure damage roll with modifier for the attack type you did (aka headshot 3).

The number that appears over the head of the enemy is the actual damage done after modifiers for AR are put in.

The number above the head is not the actual damage, thats the number after AR bonuses/drops. On the HAM bar you will see a different number if they have side resists.

Basicly if you deal 100 damage to a armor 1 mob that has 10% energy resist, your going to deal:

50 damage, then reduced by 10% from the energy resist

down to 45 damage.

(I belivee thats what the T21 does is energry, correct me if im wrong here)
