You can't hide from anyone because of the radar so why should I use this attack?

Its for PvE, you can shoot something, forever and as long as you dont miss it will never know your there.

So if you sit at your ideal range, and use AIM, you can pretty much kill anything you want to. As long as it doesnt have friends you will be fine.

Are you sure it hits randomly, Ive used it about like 20 times, a few to test if it actually worked, and every single one hit health.

conceal shot is completly random as to the HAM damage it inflicts.

If it wasn't for this shot, I would be a pistoleer. Without this our limitations with mob killing would basically be killing super slow moving mobs. Now I know what you are thinking, if a mob starts charging you, just warning shot them and get out of combat and restart. Yes this is a very well known tactic when you get in trouble, however, this is a piss poor slow ass process to get exp. There are several mobs out there that you "can" 1/2 shot and kill. There are not too many that give decent exp for someone that has already invested almost a million Rifleman XP. I've seen pistoleers take down bigger mobs, at a faster rate, easier. Conceal shot is slow, since it hits randomly on the HAM, but you get lucky and can take down those BIG mobs for decent exp. However with decent damage on the shot I find myself using it 100% no matter what I'm fighting. Plus it has added value to groups, because it hits action and health pools far more often then mind.

There is a serious issue with this skill however. If you attack a group of animals that "pack attack", you are only concealed to the one that you are hitting. So you are just better off going for a headshot or mindshot depending on the game you are hunting. I think this is a bug, but let me know if I am the only one. This seems rather contrary to the idea of a "concealed" shot. If I am hidden I don't believe ANY creature in the immediate area should be able to attack me.

It may have been a stoned halucination.. but i think i recall something in the test center patch notes about BAF creatures being fixed to prevent everyone attacking even when your target doesnt know where you are.

the WS tactic is much faster than conceal shot.

its an easy way to deal with adds, too.

get a laser or t21 for dots and witch to a spraystick for kiting.
