I heard its only for PvP and I am trying to decide between the sniper tree and rifle or the specials tree in Pistoleer. I rarely PvP so does it also work agains NPCs? Please some one fill me in on what the heck this is

It is a ranged deathblow. It only does 50 damage, so yeah it's for pvp only. It's useful, though, because if you're like me then people are always stealing your deathblow.

So I have to incap them, and then deathblow them? Sounds rather pointless to me, thanks, I guess I will be going Pistoleer route.

its hardly pointless. now i can snipe people in bestine from the ridge and not get major lag trying to get in to them to incap them..now i can just do a followup shot and take them out =D

Honestly the pvp ownige right now is the bounty hunter pistol tree combined with pistoleer using Mind shot from the bounty hunter tree and the skill bonuses from the pistoleer tree.

I just got it! I LOVE IT!!!!!

I killed about 30 people in AH today within the span of abot 2 hours. I could never do that before because I didnt dare run into the city for a DB. Now I can sit in one spot and rain death from afar as I was meant to do.
