I'm a new Rifleman, formerly Carbineer all the way, but I was curious, is Master Rifleman and Master Commando a viable option in either PvE or PvP (I do both).
I understand the weaknesses of both professions. For Rifleman is keeping the enemy at a distance and for Commando it's trying to get close and not miss. So, here's the strategy I was thinking:
Rifle: Apply status effects, keep'em down with Suppression Fire
Commando: Move in and fire the big guns, hopefully hit the mind pool.
If that fails: Invest in TKA (or Pistoleer) and finish them off.
So, how's that look? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I f you can get a squad leader to keep you off your back I have that combo and it rocks big time, make sure you get good equipment though, damage acid ion and T21 rifles, and fast flamethrowers. use imp stocks and go for SPEED krayt tissues when getting your flamethrowers made.

Just stick with good old Rifleman/TKA until the CU roles around. After that, its likely Commando will become a viable source of damage. Until then, combining rifles with the flamers is gonna be risky as it leaves you with very few defences.

For PvE...Rifleman/Commando was fun due to the big flame stacks and then mixing it up with strafeshot 2. Was quite a bit of fun, and pretty much becomes a loot-stealing machine. (especially if you've got a couple of the ranged speed FS blocks)

Rifle: Apply status effects, keep'em down with Suppression FireI think carbineer is better for states
Commando: Move in and fire the big guns, hopefully hit the mind pool.Rifles for hitting mind, commando sux royaly unless you want to grind fsxp
If that fails: Invest in TKA (or Pistoleer) and finish them off. Then you won't need any of the above.
So, how's that look? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
