ok so i am just coming back from a six month lay off from Star wars galaxies. Before i left i was planning on going master rifleman and master creature handler with 0-0-3-0 ranger. now that i am back i was wondering if creature handler was still the same as before or changed. I was also thinking about doing master rifleman master ranger with 0-0-0-3 creature handler. I only like to hunt in groups and just wanted to find out how each of these templates take up to one other from the people that may be using it. Note since i have been back i have found it hard to find large hunting groups, all i have stumbled apon are these things called solo groups?????? They were pretty angry when i joined and ask "Hey guys what we hunting tonight." Whats up with this???

I dont know about CH, but here is the story on Solo Groups:
When you group with a large enough group, you are able to get much higher level missions that give you tougher MOBs and... key point.... MORE MONEY. Well, people quickly figured out that if you were NOT close enough to your group members when you finished off a mission or lair, that you got your money AND THEIRS.
So Solo Groups (great oxymoron!) became the rave of the day for people who wanted to hunt by themselves and rake in lots of credits. You would join a solo group, get two high paying missions (you could get 55K Rancor missions on Dathomir) and go off by yourself (i.e., "solo") to take them out. Assuming that none of your group was within a certain distance of the lair when you finished it, you would get the whole mission payout by yourself.
People were running two 50K+ missions in 15 minutes and going back for more. It was easy to make a million credits in a short period of time.
Well, as you might imagine, the Devs looked down and said "This is not what we intended. Bring forth the Holy Nerf Grenade!". So now solo groups have been nerfed MONEY-wise.. you will never get more than your "slice" of the total payout for a mission. If your group has 20 people and your mission pays 20K, you will only get 1K payout even if by yourself.
However, SOLO GROUPS still exist and are popular for the following reason: People are grinding XP for the village and want to kill as many animals as possible to get it. If you are in a large enough group, the high-levelmissions are pretty much guaranteed to spawn 5 animals each spawn. So one nest would be 80K XP (15 animals plus the nest itself x 5K each).
You do know about the Rifleman foods available now, right? Vasarian Brandy? Ahrisa?

speakign only as a master rifle man with almost all my CH skills filled in,
I CAN call up a level 50ish pet, group them, pull a mission (fambaa, mountain squill, voritors), release the pet, run the mission and get my full reward of 10+k. IF you are IMP and have an ATST it will work even better.
Yes i am the only ch in my guild and they hate that i can pull 10k or better alone and get the whole reward.

As a Rifleman, you will find Ahrisa is a must. It buffs the MIDDLE mind bar (I'm at work, dont remember all the bar names). If I remember correctly (big IF there!) the middle bar is the one that keeps your main mind bar from going down as much when using specials.
You should look for and use the following BE (Bio-Engineer) enhanced foods:
Vasarian Brandy: 400+ /40+ minutes. You will normally have 1 to 2 in your stomach (see below).
Ahrisa: 400+ /34+ minutes ...you will constantly need to have from 1 to 3 in your stomach depending (see below).
How much of each food you keep in your system depends on the following things:
-- Your base mind stats
-- Whether or not you have Dancer/Musician buffs
If you were not aware of Dancer/Musician buffs:
-- Grouping with a Master Dancer, and Watching them for 4-6 minutesbuffs your FIRST (main) Mind bar to DOUBLE it's value for two hours. Group with them, Keep them targeted while watching, and after 6 mins do a /stopwatch.
-- Grouping with a Master Dancer, and Watching them for 4-6 minutesbuffs your FIRST (main) Mind bar to DOUBLE it's value for two hours. Group with them, Keep them targeted while watching, and after 6 mins do a /stopwatch.
-- Grouping with a Master Musician, and Listening to them for 4-6 mins buffs your 2nd and 3rd Mind bars by +500 for two hours. Group with them, Keep them targeted while listening, and after 6 mins do a /stoplisten.
You cannot do both at the same time.
I am a Twi'lek, which is about the worst thing for Rifleman. I have migrated all extra stats to my mind and have +800 base mind stats. Without buffs, I have to keep 2 brandies (as described above) and 2 to 3 Ahrisa in my stomach in order to fire Strafe Shot 2 with my T21 non-stop. And it has a Mind HAM cost of 100+ !! If I get Dancer Buffs, I can get by with maybe 1 brandy and 1-2 Ahrissa.
There are a couple of other Mind-Healing food/drinks now also. Aitha heals your mind a smaller amount, but there is another one I forget the name of that can heal your mind by 600-700. Problem is, i think it is a food with 40 fill.

Seloth... not sure I understand. I can pull 10-11K missions solo and I have no CH nor droid.

More on Dancer/Musician Buffs:
Be careful: Some Master Musicians also dance, and some Master Dancers also play instruments.
If you are watching a Master Dancer for the buff, they must be dancing... not playing an instrument.
Same for Musicians. They must be playing an instrument to get the buff for the 2nd and 3rd mind bars.
Just in case you were not aware of the new Doctor Buffs:
Master Doctors (and maybe some other medical types) can now buff all SIX of your Health and Action bars with very high values for a long period of time. Most of them charge 10K to 15K per buff.
Good buffs will all be above 2500+ to the six bars, and vary from 2 hours 45 minutes up to almost 4 hours.
Be careful... some low lifes will charge you 15K tobuff you with weak buffs (1900-2200) for 2 hours.
Sometimes it is hard to find a Master Doc to buff you. Most of them will have a line of people waiting to get buffs. The three main places to look for them are probably: Coronet (Corellia), Mining Outpost (Dantooine), or Theed (Naboo). Sometimes I have had to travel to 2 or 3 places to find a decent doc.
