Thread: Rifleman/Commando Combo

I have almost mastererd rifleman, and have a desire to then go TKA. Except my X-Mas holo told me to master Commando which is kewl, but I haven't really seen this combo before, and haven't seen any post.


Just wanted your thoughts and comments on MasterRifleman/MasterCommando combo

I'm doing this same combo. Rifles for long range and the flamethrower for short range. Also getting some TKA skills for defense.

Well That would be pretty powerfull. But are commando skills any good except the Flame thrower line?i havent been an commando but i have not seen many ppl use anything else then the flame thrower. But if your holo said master commando you might as well do it and then just keep the Flame thrower.

yea thats what i was thinkN master it, and then drop everything except flame - but who knows what ill do once i reach that level,

If you are going to master than drop everything but the flame tree try it out at master and see the difference. Flamethrower is much more fun at Master because of the accuracy and flame cone 2. It seems like a lot of skill points just for 1 tree in commando when you have to get master marksman and unarmed 4. If you just have flame 4, don't expect to do well in PvP with your flamethrower.

I stockbeam rifles and they havea fewgood things going for them: fast speed(mine are 118-209d 3.8s), and no range penalties, especially at close range. The problem with going commando/rifle, IMHO, is that if anyone gets within melee range of you, expect to be dizzied and KD'd on your butt, since those points for master marksman/unarmed aren't in any defensive mods.

I also like the Commando as a second proff, what i had in mind was this;
