My current template is Master Rifleman/Pistoleer 0040/Doctor 2040 +Ranged&Melee defence FS trees. I do pretty well in PvP, but I have always had huge problem with Jedis. In last big PvP battle I was able to hold my own against 2 Knights for over minute, but couldnt do any damage against them. Only 1 shot out of 10 got through. So, is there any way for rifleman to kill Jedi in 1vs1? Does increased accuracy from foods increase the chance to penetrate their block? What special(s) to use? What gun? Stunning/Dizzying has little or no use against them since most big groups use SL bot these days. Any tips would appreciated...

Not much you can do, sadly, with just a ranged profession. You might have some limited success against non-MLS, but anything above that doesn't look good at all.

Only ranged proffesionsions that have a chance are pistoleer BH's and commandoes, using there fire dots. Commandoes are going for a one hit incap though, becuase they are so slow that it takes them on average 1 min inbetween hits. (that's using a fast flamethrower shooting once per 5 seconds using flame 2)

the only shot you have is to use your T21 and strafe shot. doing so hits more than just the mind pool making them burn up more force than just healing their mind pool. make sure to use the t21 since they dont have any armor and the few shots you do get in do more damage. with the doc skills... make sure you have a heal maco something along the lines... clear action combat.../dump/ stand/ healdizzy/ healstate/ healdamage/. spammin that will make you stand and get the dizzy off ya 90% of the time. another thing is distance. kite you butt off. the foods i havnt messed with for accuracy so dont know, but should def help imo. that and dont wear armor. oh and you can put states on him too. make sure and try to do that first. trust me he will start to run when he burns up his force power. when he bolts headshot3 all the way. i havnt soloed one yet but i can live and they end up running. hehe best is to have a buddy thats a swordman near by. with the 2 of ya.... RIP jedi! hope that help bud. i am no means a pvp master as i am still learning as well.

hi apologize for piggie backing your post here... but with some rifles your idea bonuses can go about +100, with this in mind and riflemen skill bonuses, shouldnt we hit more then that. i mean a riflemen can potentially have over +150 mod on hits. again sorry for the piggie back, but i thought the question was somewhat related. thanks in advance.

Against secondary defenses rifleman accuracy can override the defense. Unfortunately Saber block is considered a primary defense and so it always has a 85% chance of deflecting the attaack so no our accuracy does not help in this case.

Your template will be able to stand against a Jedi for a while, since you have good defense. Just heal dizzy and eat some kd food. Use warcry, intim and steak. If he/she gets close warcry, and continue kiting. Force them to use FR2 to catch you so their damage is practically nothing, may take a while but if you play it right you can get that one shot through that finishes them off. I would use the highest damage weapon you have, and I prefer T21. DoT weapons help too.

1 v 1 i'd say its very very hard, i get quite disheartened when i am running around by myself looking for a little pvp action, I always run into a jedi and its game over. I take all the foods, have great armour and weapons but that doesn't count for much against saber block. Rifleman vs Jedi just highlights how unbalanced this game has become, unless you are are a melee stacker or hunt in a group with melee stackers I would just run if you see a knight.
p.s. I have a jedi myself and i still think ranged professions are gettin a bum deal.
