What does the Ideal Range bonus meanon a rifle? Some of the Disruptors have Ideal Range of +125. With CH you can have prefect IR all through out a fight.
So my question is with perfect ideal range and anideal range bonus of 125 on the weapondoes this mean a weapon that is 395-535 indamage is really520-660 as long as you keep the perfect ideal range?
Then you pup that 535 max damage rifle to 695, and can add the IR bonus for a max of 820 as long as you keep the perfect ideal range?

ideal range refers to the range band in which the accuracy of the weapon is best and you will miss the least.
generally it will have a number like 48m beside ideal range and a accuracy number of anywhere from -50 to +200 (- = bad!)

The IR is the range at which you get the IR accuracy bonus. It is suppose to be where the weapon is most accurate. Though there was a time that some weapons were actually least accurate at their ideal range. I had a pistol that was +0 at max/min and -3 at IR.

So the IR has to do with accuracy?
What's the - # or +# mean next to the target you're fighting?

Yes. It is suppose to be where you are most accurate. Or more correctly where the weapon is most accurate.
The number next to the MOB is accuracy mods based on your movement/posture and that of the target. However that number maxs at +/- 50. So it isn't always completely accuracte. And I don't believe it takes into account the shooters weapon accuracy skill. Though it may take into account the weapon range accuracy (IR mods). Haven't checked that though to see if it changes if you increase/decrease range.

It does take into account our weapons range mods at least to a degree, as you move closer than your Ideal range with a rifle, it goes down, with same posture/relative movement.
