Thread: Why Riflemen Have Crazy Damage Output When They Reach Master
On SWG Discussion I posted an analysis of the way speed REALLY works in the game, with lots of data and analysis. The results were interesting.
One problem it reveals is that a lot of the complaints about the T21 are probably based on the bugged way that speed is handled in the game, not the T21 itself. The way to fix that is to change speed instead of the T21.

On paper, with only your variables , its true. when you look at the reality , everything changes :
1) You dont always autoattack right ? you might use spécials.
2) riflemens specials use TONS of mind, 150 for a Headshot 3 withmy T21, thats 6, 7 shots max with 1k mind
3 ) Mind is not healable > downtime after a few shots.
4 ) Also, the T21 listed on your test is a prenerfed one, mine is 110-300 8,3
5 ) Riflemens are horribly innacurate , especially more since the todays patch.
6 ) AND specials have an additional delay modifier on them.
When you are considering theses other variables, riflemens DPS drops a lot.
However, your numbers are interesting, the way speed works may look a bit wierd, but at the end it make the things balanced
If I might add one comment about your profession (pistoleer) the problem is not the speed, its the lame specials.
