I really need the help of you Master Riflemen. Please tell me can when you are shotting while moving in PvP do you miss your target alot. I'm thinking about becoming a Master Rifleman but I would really want to be hitting my target on the move because I would like to receive the defensive bonuses that you get when moving but the accuracy penalties have me a little scared : )

Is accuracy for Master Riflemen that on the move really an issue with you guys?

You move and fire you miss. You are closer than 20 meters, you miss. You move and fire closer than 20 meters.. you're dumb.

You can still hit.. but as you usually have to kill in at the most 5 shots in PvP I usally don't take the chance.

at <20 toss the rifle and switch to melee,,, or ANYTHING else. This assumes you are not able to conceal / surprise shot and / or bleed and peace... or run away like a girly-man.

It's just not plesent to have your effective hit points change from 850 to 340 because you are holding a rifle.

But you have my respect if you can kill a Master Rifleman who is ready for you and out of range.

I see the few riflemen die in pvp all the time. Often when they where ready for people. The ones that live are those that use very good tactics as well as being ready.

Take today. I was out near bestine killing imps. One guy sends to me that I owned him and that he did not know riflemen where so good. My responce? We are not, we are just one of the few classes that is forced into using tactics for any encounter we want to have a chance to win.

Some may argue this, but, I put it to you that all other range classes are alteast as effective as riflemen if they use riflemen tactics. There advantage is they don't have to use our tactics and are still good:]

i dont PvP

i gave up on it entirely and totally until / if they fix geting one shotted.

if the ydont i will be moving on to the next decent available MMORPG.

Of course I use moun gold but do not have any doctor buffs.

Sometimes I only use Breath of Heaven, then I still only have my 1050 mind.

Is it Master Riflemen you see getting killed all the time?

Last time I went pvp I only got killed because I got seperated from my raid group. Was stormed by 5 Imps and I got 2 incapped before they got me.

tactics....I use headshot 2 twice with a t21...and their dead..it's not even prenerf....I just run away...and shoot..

Ya i think master rifleman is a **edit** good pvp class, and REALLY good if you have a pre nerf t21. With master marksman you shoot strafe2 once a second with any rifle, so its really a matter of spamming strafe 2 or headhost 2 if the person is buffed. I do anywhere from 400 to 1200 damage every second so i'd say thats pretty good. But yes if you're not master you will most likely get your ass handed to you, we go from being one of the worst classes before master to one of the best after.

i would love to help you but i entirely quit PvP until they fix geting one shotted. if that doesnt happen before next good MMORPG that is interesting to me comes out, then it will most likely be bah-bye SWG for me.

i pvp'd quite a bit today, just got master last sunday.

i only got db'd twice. once was 'cause i seperated from the group and two guys and pets jumped me (took down 1 and a half guys, got incapped by pet, then db'd).

the other i just came off a downer and a Poison got me, db'd while incapped by a dude with a TEF that i had just killed.

basically, powerup your T21, pop a muon gold, and have at it with strafe2.1-2-3 shot kills. (i'm master marksman as well).

and then with snipershot - you can db before they hit the ground.

i'd say we're a major force in PvP. especially if you have a partner who can tank a bit. (there's a master pistoleer with a full suit of composite in my guild, we do very well just the two of us).

i luv bein rifleman - that's all i gotta say.

I use a power up post nerf T21 and I'm owning Mind poison cm, BH, and commandos. With moun gold an eye spamer BH is going down same with other classes aswell as commandos so long as they don't come next to you. Hell in pvp I run away from running towards me.
