I've been a rifleman since day one, but not really been playing that much..
Last night i thought i noticed a stat on my rifles section of the marksman tree, something like "chance of concealment" i then noticed how even after a few hits from my rifle things werent attacking me (until i missed) using headshot2.. i cant find this stat on stratics?? was i dreaming??
oh, and just before i went to bed, i got novice rifleman and didnt get chance to try it out.. will it make any significant difference?
cheers..

It's the chance of pulling a single target from a group without aggroing the rest of them.

ahh.. ok.. so when i attack it the only target that should attack back should be the one i target..
why wasnt it attacking me if i hit it, but ran me if i missed?

Pulling singles seems a bit redundant to me - at least for non-aggro critters anyway.
All you have to do is put a bleed on 'em and then peace. Back out to about 66 meters and after the first tick they'll come at you - all by themselves.
I always thought concealment actually bought you a few extra shots before you were "discovered" by your victi... errr, target. =)
Lots to learn I guess.

hmm.. well thats exactly what it seemed like it was doing.. but that was only if i hit it.. as soon as i missed it came running at me..
not that sure about that single critter thing..

I tested it on bolle bols the day that patch came out. I could shoot one with headshot and it wouldleave the group to attack me. If anyone else tried that, the whole group would aggro on them.
It's faster than bleed pulling because you don't have to wait for the bleed to tick.

Concealment is basically that the creature/npc has less of an idea where the shot is coming from. The higher your mod is the more shots you get off before they agro. This leads to conceal shot in the rifleman tree where, if successful, you can take down a mob without them (or any of their buddies) ever going agro.
