Thread: Q: prone/rifle crawl speed??

Yeah, I hail from the beta days.. I guess back then or early after release is where I'm remember it from. As for prone.. I dont PvP much with this character yet.. recently moved servers and still working on skills. When fighting creatures prone gives me a few extra free shots before they see me.

Is there a way to increase the speed that you crawl when prone? For some reason I though there was a skill for this but I cant find it. Maybe skilltapes?? If so, how many points of it would be a noticable difference in speed??

Group with a Master Squad Leader. You can scurry as fast as someone can walk, then.That is, if you have some "scout" skills yourself.

zutan you have been around too long 
. I myself have some rifle crawl speed skill mod enhanced boots, but the skill never worked and so they removed the rifle craw speed skill mod out of the concealment tree of rifleman (and replaced it with ranged def, enough so that my ranged def went up to 120 after that patch, and i was immdiatly an exploiter ... but i digress). Anyways rifle crawlspeed is no longer around, but terrain negotiation above 50 gives you crawling speed increase (only works up to 100). If you dont mind my asking though why do you go prone anyways? I find little use for takecover (as master it tends to fail on me 3 times in a row before it sticks) and i most pvp so going prone is a move if i have a death wish. I am assuming you pve with it
