Thread: Looking for a place to solo for xp..(if this is still at all possible with the combat upgrade)

well i spent about an hour this morning standing around in the mining outpost trying to get a group going. of course everytime i tried to invite someone lvl 60+ or so they took one look at all the other lvls and left. guess i need to find a way to solo to get the rest of my xp for master rifleman. right now i'm lvl 22 using an e-11. unfortunatly i didn't think ahead about the whole reworking your templat (now i know to drop 1 skill at a time), so my former lvl 80 master teras kasi/master pikeman turned into a newb( and everyone thinks i'm a newbie because of my combat lvl). basically this is just asking if theres a place to solo for xp, and also a /rant about how combat lvls have really skrewed up this game.

Good advice, as a level 22 you get just as much xp from killing a level 22 creature that you would if you killed a level 80 creature in a level 80 group.

yeah i tried going to tat and taking missions, got some rontos and banthas, these seem to be the "bols" of tat as they don't aggro and are non-social. but with 1600 xp per kill it'll take me....hmmm 281.5 to kill, which is like...huh doing the math i get about 35 or so missions, that doesnt seem so bad, seeing as how it was taking me maybe 5 minutes per mission alone.

This is actually a fairly common problem for people from 10-mid 60's CL. The CU has simply destroyed mid ranged gaming. Since the most efficient means of xp gain is simply to join a group headed by an 80 and tap the target once, effective levelling is really based on largesse. Just one of a number of problems with this system.

Lol i think with good enough armor u cuyold take some low level pikets or maybe some ummmm volitars?

i should try that out, thanks. not sure what armor i'd need though right now i've got a pretty good set of ubese 7000k energy 6000k kinetic or so. maybe i should get some assault armor for the kinetic protection since most pve deals in kinetic.

But if you do it on Dant, think the min lvl you can take on a mission there is 50ish.

hmm, guess that won't work then by the time i'm lvl 50 people will actually want to group with me again

Take missions out of player cities on Tat, they will be whatever level you are. Or any starter planet for that matter, just not NPC cities.
