Berzerker Rifle or Fallann Hyper-Rifle... Berzerker can be made at or around 1k damage, and the FHR is a quest loot that had 988 damage, but a good slice can take that right up...

my LD-1 has a base dps of 290 or so if I recall.

there are 3 kinetic rifles I know of:

Fallan-Hyper Rifle - quest reward from Sordaan's hunting wagers in the Etyyy Hunting grounds, Kashyyyk. Stock max damage 915 with slices/powerup its like @ 1100

LD-1 Rifle - quest reward on Kashyyyk as well but I haven't gotten this one yet. I believe its from the Khowir Forrest but not sure, stats are exactly the same as the Fallan-Hyper Rifle.

Tusken Rifle - player crafted, had one pre-cu converted to max damage of 800+ with powerups not bad at all. I did notice it had a really fast speed.

LD-1 rifle is the reward item at the end of the outcast mission series in the dead forest.

You can probably randomly loot one on the avatar though seems most things drop there also.

Rifles have the highest damage cap, that's why I'm guessing there's no level 54 kinetic rifle, as it's pretty obvious everyone would use it.

Is this just a PvP question post-CU? Energy versus kinetic no longer seems to matter in PvE.

No ranged profession rates having a Kinetic CL54 / Master XXX ranged weapon, since none of these professions even have one.

Carbines: The Nym's Slugthrower, if you're lucky, can come out very nice as a reward. The Czerka appears to be surfacing as a great Kinetic Carbine. Both of these weapons are CL50.

Rifles: The Tusken Rifle is one, but a rather low CL Kinetic Rifle. However, the LD-1 and Fallan-Hyper Rifle are rather good weapons. They have the same stats also, just different graphics, sounds, and effects. The latter 2 rifles are also both CL50 weapons.

The Wookie Assault Bowcaster is special, since it can come out quite nasty. But on Ahazi, a good Assault Bowcaster is quite uncommon to find. You of course need to be a Wookie. I have no problem with that, however.

I asked a good weaponsmith about the berserker rifle and he said it sucks. So I purchased a fallen hyper rifle that sliced to 495-988 damage. Should be decent. With sac pu the cost is 67 for me. Prob run out of action but it will cut through those damn psg's

the highest dam i'v seen on a non-sliced kinetic rifle so far is the ld-1
