To get higher CL you need to get an elite combat profession now. Once you hit novice elite you will be CL 10 I think. Then every box above novice elite will raise you a level or 2.

CM's are like nukes. You have them just incase you need them, but as soon as you start using yours the other guys start using theirs and everything goes to hell-PyschoticChipmunk -The First line of the Riflenomican.

It seems like it takes forever to go from level 1 to level 30. I just leveled up my alt over the past few weeks and it took longer than I thought it would. I got my elite professions and went straight up trees,4000rifle for example. The higher level boxes give more levels (not much, but a little) and the higher exp caps from the higher boxes lets you stay out in the field longer.

I had the benefit of spin groups so I was able to get exp very fast. Once you hit level 35-40 you should start getting 4000+ exp per kill and be able to finish off your template pretty quick.

It took me 2 weeks to get to level 38, but last night I went from level 38 to level 75 and only need 300k medic exp to finish off my master doc box for level 80. I'm not sure what your other elite prof is going to be, but having some medic or doc with a combat prof seems to be a quick way to gain levels.

Also, if you think you will get into any spin groups for power leveling, it will be a good idea to have pistol or carbine area shot. Just make sure you wear armor and stay withing 12m of the tanks. When you get in a good group it is important to be out in the field as long as you can before you have to go train, so get at least 1 level 4 box asap so you don't hit the exp cap every other lair.

If you don't know a lot of people, getting into groups as a low level character can be very hard. I see a lot of recomendations to head to the mining outpost and get into groups, but I find most of them to be unorganized and a waste of time. Stick with other low levels till you get up to level 20 and then start to look for the bigger groups. Dant pickup groups will still probably laugh at a level 20, but if you follow directions and don't get the group into trouble more people will start to recognize you as a quality player and you will get more invites. It would be best to find a good player city with an active grinding population. Player cities usually have the same players hunting out of it day after day. They are usually well organized groups and once people get to know you a simple tell to a known grinder will probably find you a spot in a group.

that is one of the must compleated answers i have ever had in this forums.

Yes it is true i was a newb when i wrote the tread and i found out that yes u need to level pistol and carbine that will help u get to at list CL 9 if u are 4-3-3-3.

Also the groups at Dantooine mining outpost only look for high lvl, they will not even tal to you once they find out ur lvl.

The best choice is to find a good guild that is wiling to help low lvl

Thanks guys u are been a great help

try mastering marksman on your way to rifleman. whichever you get to first will jump you to combat level 14 (i think).
