Thread: Pikeman/Rifleman combo

hey i was wondering what you guys thought of a pikeman/rifleman combo....
i have this marine body armor so i figure the rifleman part would supplement the pikeman part nicely, i chose to be a pikeman mostly because of grievous's guards in episode 3 but if you guys have any input on this combination please do so, i would like to know if this is a good combo or if being a pikeman/smuggler or pikeman/bounty hunter....etc.

It sounds like fun but you will not be as effective in the melee range as a pure melee fighter nor at range as a pure ranged fighter. That being said Pikeman and Rifleman have historic ties and it was always cool to switch to the pikeman skills when the creatures closed on you. As pikeman you pike up intimidate and a few other skills that are pretty cool.

what would u recommend then, cause i consider myself to be more of a brawler type person, and the pikeman profession is one i def one i want to undergo.......what other combo's would u recommend then to supplement the rifleman.....also i have the recon marine body armor so the other profession would have to be certified in using that.....
