Hey there,

Just came back to the game few days ago and ive noticed u can use a default action when in combat. Is it worth doing this and whats the best one to use so i dont lose out on shots as different skills have different cooldowns. Ive also got this query with Pikeman too incase any1 knows =)

seems to me ranged shot is probably the best default, then you get to choose which specials to override it with when you want to do a special.

I usually do the opposite. I have Advanced Critical as my default shot. When my action begins to get low, I will manually alternate ranged shot with it to regen some action. Of course I throw in some state attacks and sniper shot from time to time. I am MR/MBH/Pistoleer 0404

I prefer to time when my shots go off. That way if I need to sneak a heal or a special in I can (my dps probably drops marginally due to this though)

For me, depends on what I am attacking. If it is group hunting or easy/regular mobs, I just set ranged attack and dont worry too much. PvP, double elite, and high end content, I turn it off so that autoattack doesn't mess up timing.
