Thread: Bsides conceal shot and strafe2

While working my way up in rifleman I have been getting alot of different rifle shots that I dont know if they are that useful or not...
Mainly right nowI have been using conceal shot, headshot2, and mind shot
But know I have things like -
startle shot
fury shot
flushing shot
surprise shot
sniper shot.
Are any of these useful at all? all I ever here about is strafe2 and conceal. Manly I do alot of PvE with some group PvP and my guild. I'm just wondering if I will have any use for some of the shots, and if I really need all of them on my quick bar.

Flurry dizzies your target.
Masrksman skill ranged support four, suppression fire, is good for making dizzy'd target kneel, giving them a chance to fall down (npcs only)
Flushing shot makes targets stand up (messing up the aim)
And as far as I know, the rest are broke, and have been for a while.

Startle shot raises the posture of your target. Useful for bringing smugglers out of feign death in pvp. Flurry shot dizzies your target. Flushing shot startles and stuns your opponent, lowering their defenses. Suprise shot is bugged and has no use. Sniper shot deathblowsyour target in pvp at a range.

flushingshot2 is a nice shot. Like Strafe2 It's AOE and using a damage-sliced t21 (assuming you don't have rifle speed clothing or armor attachments) you can come pretty close to the speed cap using it.

Not true. Works in PvP as well...Hit flurry shot 2 a couple times to dizzy, then use supression fire....They kneel, then stand up to try and follow you, BOOM! Down they go to flop around like a fish out of water.

I have a question about startle shot 2:
Before patch 9 went live, I was under the impression that startle shot 2 was an AOE attack.
Now it seems its not.
Was it ever, or was I dreaming or something .

I don't get the point of startle shot2, same stats as flushing shot2 which also raise posture but also stuns (according to FAQ). See no reason to use it over flushing shot2.
What I think rifleman lacks is a good random pool single target attack. Guess the best is flurry 1 with 2.5 dam modifier.
Hehe made the mistake to use flushing shot2 (my bets shot as non-master)in NS forced labor camp. Apparently shooting through walls have not been fixed lol.
