It's hard because I have not leveled in a long time so this is old:

First Maxx out Your Mind Bar and Focus Stat, then:

-Novice to Mid level rifleman kill Tattered Tortons on Rori(you will need to solo group to get em at novice)

-Mid Level to Master A) Head Shot2 Savage Quenkers & Mutant Baz Nitchs Or(if that don't work too well for ya) B) Conceal Shot Savage Quenkers & Mutant Baz Nitchs

That Grind should take you a month if you take your time, 2 weeks if you try to rush through it. BTW doing this you don't need Buffs or armor, you might want some food that buffs your focus though.

CM's are like nukes. You have them just incase you need them, but as soon as you start using yours the other guys start using theirs and everything goes to hell-PyschoticChipmunk -The First line of the Riflenomican.

Tactics will vary depending on what other skills you have.

First group with a pet. Either use it to tank for you or just group with it for the XP bonus. The XP bonus for grouping is in the 15-20% range. Makes leveling go faster.

Get armor and buffs. You will also want Mind foods. Brandy is popular. This will help reduce your HAM costs for using specials.

It's best to fight targets that use ranged attacks. The reason being your accuracy when in melee range will be very poor.

Your best attacks are going to be HeadShot at Novice. Use it when hunting since it concentrates the damage onto one pool and its damage multiplier is pretty comparable to the other skills you will have at this time.

If you have /WarningShot get a Spraystick. If a melee MOB closes on you swith to the fast firing Spraystick and drive it off.

As soon as you have the Combat XP get training in Rifle Abilities. Rifle speed is your friend.

They used to make powerups that did the following: +33 max damage, -16% on mind cost.
I can't find them anymore - everyone makes the +max damage, +min damage variety now.
You might ask around and see if someone can make the mind reduction ones for you.

Also, here is a way to NOT use any mind costs when shooting your rifle:
Buy Bio-enhanced Vasarian Brandy (should be over +400 each, preferably over +420)
Buy Bio-enhanced Ahrisa (Should also be over +400).

Before starting battle, take TWO Brandys... This will increase ALL 3 mind stats +800 or more.
Then also take TWO or THREE Ahrisa's.
Some people suggest Vagnerian Canape, but 2 Ahrissas get your focus to the same point and last 3 times longer.
With those chef foods and drinks, you should not lose ANY MIND firing your specials!
