Thread: Carbineer / Rifle?
Master Rifleman / Master Carbineer (for the battle armor originally) / Master Marksman / BH 0/3/0/0. With this build I have access to 2 working area attacks (spray and full auto) to which with a low action cost rifle I can effectively control a crowd of agros. Other attacks such as charging shot (and it's goofy animation) are great for ranged KD along with the advanced crippling shots for slowing down rushers. Also, having the ability to use high damage carbines is nice as there are several E11 Mk2's out there which out damage many rifles (sliced one to bump up it's modified damage to 553 pre-pup).
If you're looking for pistoleer go with the stopping shot (hopefully this gets fixed and only pistols can perform stopping shot) and possibly the intimidate line (techniques).

My current template is MBounty Hunter/MCarbineer/Rifle 4xx4/Scout 4x11. Im more effective with this template than I was with MBounty Hunter/MRifleman/MMarksman. Legshot is equal to Headshot, you gain a Snare that actually works, area attacks and(when it's fixed) an area Snare, as well as the most effective ranged KD in the game. If you really want to do some nuking then you have Improved Sniper Shot.

Yes, this sounds like a perfect support template. Being as we are almost forced to group, this allows for major flexability within a group.

Carbines 4400
You get the 2 most powerful non-windup single target attacks and you get the 2 most powerful area effect shots. All of which can be shot back and forth with your default delay.
Plus you are fully mitigated for assault or recon armor .. so whatever the situation calls for (kinetic or energy)
Mrifle Mcarbs 0404 pistols.
High damage rifleman attacks,support and are attacks from carbs, roots and stallers from pistols. Great IMO. I'm still deciding if I should get another pistols branch or M MArksman for lethal shot.
