I've looted a taking cover +19 CA with two other mods I'm not sure on, but was wondering if this is the same as a CA with just cover??
Thanks

cover CA is obsolete
not sure about the taking cover CA - what that did was make it easier to enter the state of cover pre-cu, post-cu the requirements are not the same so it may also be obsolete

If you really want to know what mod names you want to look for just look in your skill sheet under skill mods...numbers to the left of the / is your base skill, numbers to the right is what your CA/AA/Buffs and other goodies add...

Well I actually picked up Rifleman last night switching from Pistols (have an alternate BH). Had a guildie make me a couple T-21s, had them sliced and have around 1020 damage max and 300dps, which isn't bad at all for a free T-21. Trying to get my hands on a set of 6 krayt tissues to get me a better one made, but for now it will have to do.
I tried taking cover yesterday as soon as I made rifleman, but it took me like 20 tries each to do it. Am I doing something wrong?

Actually taking cover aa's or ca's have never done anything. They are a mod left over from beta I think. I have never seen the mod in the rifleman skill set. Cover aa's, cas or BE clothing did help to take cover pre-cu basically giving u a higher chance of entering the cover state. With my set of BE cover clothing it set my skill mod over 100 and i took cover almost everytime, but being completely useless I stopped using it a long time ago. It sucked at the time too cause i spent a few million on the mollsuk meat, which was extremely rare at the time. Master rifleman had +80 cover i think, and at that number it tookon average 2-3more tries than at 100 to actually enter the cover state.

You're right, but that would requirehim to put the attachment in a piece of armor first. That would probably lower the price.
I used to have a +15 cover BEshirt, but I never really used it...
