I am having a problem lately, after using takecover and a successful kill. I stand up and i am moving in slowmotion!! It's not the walk/run toggle. I dont even use that. But just to be sure i toggled it and my 'walk' turns into a super slowmotion crawl. I have tried everything I can think of to get out of this. Sit, stand, prone, take cover again, etc and many combinations. Nothing seems to fix it.

The only thing that works so far is relogging my character, which, is not convenient to have to do after each kill obviously.

Am I doing something wrong? Is this my own special personal bug? I see no posts about it on this board.

Anyone else having this problem. Your help greatly appreciated. Thanks

This used to be in an issue in beta, but it was fixed about 2 weeks before release. I guess it is back like so many other bugs.

it's happening to me too. if you find out how to fix it, please let me know. my solution has been to stop taking cover, which kinda sucks...

this is still a problem for me and i'm sure for other people, i hope the devs are doing something about it.

Thought I would chime in as another victim of this bug. Although, back when I was using cover, it didn't seem to do much so I wasn't too disappointed with losing it

The only way I've found around it, is to go prone, take cover AGAIN, and then stand up and it should be gone. Either that or relog.

This has happened to me too. No matter what I did it would fix itself. Not until the next day anyway.

Yes, I have this problem everytime I successfully take cover (had it last night in fact). Aside from relogging, I have found swimming seems to cancel the slow mo bug as well. Finally found a perk for all those rivers around Theed.

Yah i get this bug all the time annoys the hell outta me will try the workarounds posted though Last time i relogged to try and fix i ended up perma-rooted in the center of kaad

In beta I would just go prone again, crawl a bit, the go to kneel and stand up. Usually cleared it with a couple tries. Basically it thinks you are still prone when you get up from Take Cover.

This happened to me againtoday, trying to keep up awareness about this one. Definitely on my Top 5.

It only seems to happen if your rifleman/ranger, since i dropped ranger no problems with takecover at all.

I posted on this last week, in a reply I read a work around that has actually worked for me.

I have hot keys 1 and 2 to prone and stand.

If I get the dreaded Cover slowness bug I hamer 121212121212121212 for about 5 seconds.. it clears it right up for me. Not very usefull in a fight however.
