If I'm buffed out the Wahzoo I go with HeadShot3 for that little bit of extra damage, else it's HeadShot2.

Which do you use in PvP? I hear Head Shot 2 doesn't do as much damage, but is faster. Head shot 3 is slower, but does more damage. Which is better to use in PvP? I just bought an armor attachment that gives me +10 rifle speed. So when I hit master rifleman (again) I will have 100 Rifle Speed. So, will it make much of a difference between the 2 head shots?

HS3 is slower than HS2, but does more damage per shot. At low levels, they do almost the same damage over time, except HS3 uses a lot more HAM. After hitting the speed cap on HS2, HS3 does more damage over time because of the higher damage multiplier.

I don't know guys, I'm a master rifle man. I haven't had the title too long but I've had access to HS2 and HS3 for about a month and a half now (I'm not a grinder), and I have noticed almost no difference between HS2 and HS3 other then the HAM cost. I know there is one so I just drink some brandy or eat some canape and go with HS3 just incase that extra bit of damage does make a difference. However, the Highest damage I ever landed with a HS3 was 5100 and the highest I ever landed with HS2 was just under 5000 (49XX). So it would probably come down to what the situatioin is, how far you are in rifle abilities and if you can afford the extra mind cost or not. That's just my 2 cents, hope it helps.

At master rifleman, I shoot once per second with either shot, get rifle speed +10 and you will have no problem.

Once you hit Rifle Speed +100, speed won't matter any more, as you'll be firing all your shots at the speed cap.

It depends on the situation. For the most part I use 3 unless I get into a hassle with my buffs or start taking damage and need to conserve mind, then I move down to 2.

This may be a question of perception, but I seem to miss a lot more when using HS2. With HS3, in PVE, I miss maybe 1 in 10, or 20 shots. HS2 seems to have a much more noticeable miss rate.

Actually, for all practical purposes, unless you expect to use a rifle with a speed of 9.5 or more, you can get by with +97 to speed (+96 if you keep your rifle speeds at 7.1 or under). At +98, you can use any rifle with a speed of 14.3 or under. So there is no need to go looking for +10 in speed tapes. +7 or Master Marksman and +2 will be sufficient.

I thought I posted the dps calc thing in here but I guess that was some other thread.

play with different +speed bonuses and rifle speeds, and you can figure out where your HS2/HS3 breakpoint is.
