Thread: What Stats Make A Good Jawa Rifle For PvP Use?

I know it varies a little from server to server...
But generally, what kind of stats would make a very good Jawa rifle for PvP use? I am pretty new to the rifleman profession and I would like to get a general idea as to what to look for. Any loot drops or special components that make the weapon better?

For building or for buying? If you're going to buy a rifle, just get the highest damage you can: the speed will be offset by the Master Rifle speed, and the HAM coasts by buffs.

As far as I have seen thusfar, if you know a good weaponsmith... it is always good to start off with a good damage slice based jawa until you can get a "krayt tissue" enhanced one. Even that though does not make a HUGE difference when mitigation comes into play. The one I have is 198 - 415 with powerup. If you use get a good tissue (at least around 70+ in my opinion) you can end up with over 500 max... best one I have seen is 550 max with powerup. If you compare the two in a normal pvp situation you get a big difference...
345 DPS for PvP with my Jawa without any other modifiers...
421 DPS for PvP with the Krayt Jawa...
Most people nowadays use melee/ranged templates for all mitigations to change that though...
272 DPS for PvP with my Jawa against a Mitigation 3 opponent...
302 DPS for PvP with Krayt Jawa.
Now the question becomes... are you willing to spend up 1 million to buy a really good tissue for the 30 points more per second... or buy crates of standard jawas for a lot cheaper and get high damager slices. You can always go out and hunt... but it can take a lot of time to find something worthwhile. The tissues that went into that 550 max were about 160 max tissues by the way. There are my two cents...
