3-4 days? Wow, mine was like 7 hours after getting my Dxr6b. (Friend lent me his nice one. ^_^ )
Anyway, go to the Geo caves with that and Flushing Shot 2 when the spawns are at their highest peak, and get a group.
Group has tank, you sit in the back and spam Flushing 2, 4-5k xp per kill-==-5-10 spawn every time.

You're lack of speed makes it more difficult - I ground to 0004 with Pistols for the combat xp, then did the accuracy tree after that.
Grab a decent T-21 then get some speed pups and food. I'd say a couple of crates of Ahrisa to buff the focus and a crate of Brandy. You may want some Citrus Snow Cake for the accuracy buff as well. A crate of Muon is always a cheap and handy lifesaver
I didthe non-comabt xp linesin about 18 hours of gameplay doing grauls on Dantooine. You need a good solo group to get missions that have 3 spawns of 5. Go prone 50 meters out, mask scent if you can and take cover, then hit the mind. If you miss, and you will, peace immeadiately and switch to a new target. Rinse, repeat, wipe hands on pants. The xp starts out at around 3.8k and tops out at 5k after you level up. Once you get 4004, the xp just rolls in. Depending on the baby spawn, you can get close to 75k xp per mission. Thats 300k an hour, with the travel time and mission terminal refreshing time. I'm a smoker though, so my best was a little over 750k on a single buff cycle. Also, this was my 32nd profession, so it was a little difficult to motivate myself to grind post-9.
I gotta say, this profession rocks! I was going to drop it (held on to carbineer for all of 15 minutes, lol) but when I saw the amount of damage I could do, I decided to spend a month running around with my guildies killing big stuff. lol, we found some Light Jedi Sentinels on Yavin4 last night that had 1.21 MILLION HAM with 95% resists to everything! Took 2 Riflemen, 3 Melee Tanks, and 2 doctors a little over an hour to kill it, but kill it we did.

I totally agree on using another profession to get the combat xp. I used TKA to get mine, much faster. Im going to try the graul mauler idea that you mentioned for my last couple of boxes.

I would recommend getting mind shot 3 as quickly as possible (4-1-0-2). When you get this get a full set of buffs (including mind), I also use brandy at the same time. I don't like solo group missions so I get the giant baz nitches missions and just spam mind shot 3. This works great for me and it's safe (as long as you don't run into anything else at the same time that is). Hope this helps

Can pets be buffed? If so, you could get a lvl 10 pet, that doesnt require you to have novice CH, get it fully buffed, then take Hurton Stalker or Huntress missions on Dant, and just stand back and rifle away the tons of Hurtons that swarm your pet. Havent tried this yet, but Im planning too.
