Is anyone having the issue where once they go under cover, their character is not becoming translucent? I go off the radar screen, but my character looks the same (solid and visible by all). Just wondering if this issue is just happenign to me.

You won't become translucent, you just drop off radar. If someone/something comes withing 20 meters of you, your cover is broken and you reappear on radar. only Jedi turn invisible with Jedi Cloak, us Rifleman only drop off radar...

Works ok for me.
Have you had a play around with the vertex/pixel shader options in the launchpad game opions?

Translucency is related to pixel shader
If you have it off you will not go translucent (and therefore you have to rely on the icon saying you are undercover)

I've only really used this skill on Bols (lvl 78-82) and with them I've noticed that after they have been hit they run towards me a few metres, then they stop and go back to what they were doing. Hit them again and the process repeats, eventually they get close enough that the cover breaks. I can normally get 3 or 4 shots in before the cover breaks. All of that seems perfectly reasonable to me. I wonder if the behaviour is different for different mob types and different levels.

Changing that setting fixed the problem! Thanks. Anyone know how visible you are 'under cover' to other players? I do not mean on radar, but say, withing 64m looking in your direction.
Also, does conceal shot work in PvP? (e.g. the other player doesn't know where the shot came from)

would this mean that if people wanted to see you while your undercover they should just turn off pixel shading, or does this only effect it on the Rifleman's screen?

only the riflemans side
you are invisible to the other side as their client is not updated with information about you until you break cover.

I can go under cover finally (mRifle/mRanger) but conceal shot pulls them to me, every single time - the only ones it does not pull are the ones I kill with one shot.
