Thread: Would someone who has the Trandoshan Rifle please verify this.
The Trando Rifle is a reward given towards the end of a long series of quests centered around the overthrow of the trandoshans story arc. Basically it starts in the slaver camps and takes you through the rodian huntung grounds and the ryatt trail. towards the end of these quest a wookie in the tree sends you to the bottom of the ryatt trail to kill Scratch and rewards you with the trando rifle. The final part of this series is the destruction part of the avatar line of quests, in which Hssissk the leader of the Zssik sends you to destroy the platform from the inside. Good luck....it is actually kind of a fun quest, and the rifle is badass.

So the wookie gives you the rifle? He gave me some stupid staff. What up with that?
There is a 5 page thread on this rifle in this very forum. Read through it and you will find most of the answers you need. If a wookie in the tree gave you a staff then it sounds like you are doing a different line of quests. Again, this whole long line of quests (and sub-quests to gain access to different areas) starts in the Slaver camps, eventually you get the keys and codes to access the Avatar, you get the rifle after killing Scratch at the bottom of the Ryatt Trail, and the final stage is to destroy the Avatar platform.

Ok I answered my own question. You get the rifle from Orooroo the betrayer after Harwakokok.
I didnt get it the first time I did it with my main character.
OK yeah, well, almost. After you kill Scratch and talk to the Wook, then you can go back and get the rifle from O. Not after Hrwokok, the giant lev 86 wookie in the avatar---I got the rifle before ever stepping a foot in the AP.
